The Swish Hoop® technology are easy-to-use electronic and app-based devices, which are scientifically designed to advance your basketball shooting and dribbling skills. Your shot results are tracked through a net-mounted sensor called the Swish Hoop® Shot Monitor.

This device can track your misses from the vibrations of ball impacts with the rim or backboard as well as track your makes from the ball passing through the net. See the video here. Your shooting results are sent wirelessly to a smartphone or tablet (Android or iOS) using the free Swish Hoop® Player App.

The high-visibility courtside Swish Hoop® Personal Scoreboard may be optionally used to provide immediate shot-by-shot feedback on your shooting stats while on the court. The Swish Hoop® Player App also can record video of your shooting from any position on the court, allowing you to observe your shooting form and get feedback from your trainer or coaches. A number of challenging dribbling drills are also part of the system to help you build up your dribbling skills.

Yes, the Swish Hoop® technology is designed to be used either together or just for shot-tracking. If you use the Swish Hoop® Shot Monitor without the Swish Hoop® Personal Scoreboard, then you won't be able to get real-time feedback of your shooting, but the system will still record your shooting stats and videos for to view later.

You can also run Dribbling drills without the Swish Hoop® Personal Scoreboard, but they are easier to follow along and more fun when done with the scoreboard.

The Swish Hoop® Personal Scoreboard is designed to give you real-time, court-side feedback while you're shooting. Measuring and immediately feeding back performance are important aspects of skill development, so the Swish Hoop® Skills Trainer (using the Personal Scoreboard with the Swish Hoop® Shot Monitor) is a powerful and effective tool for you to track and improve your game.

Another benefit of using the Personal Scoreboard is that it helps you organize your workouts and drills, especially when practicing with your friends and teammates. It displays the initials of the player whose turn it is to shoot, shows you where on the court to take your shot and separately keeps you and your friends stats, so you can compete and compare one another’s shooting results.

A third benefit of using the Personal Scoreboard is that it is a great guide tool to help you in your dribbling workouts. The Personal Scoreboard animates the various drill moves at eye level so you can keep your head up. It also randomly sounds a buzzer noise during reaction dribbling drills to help you develop fast reflexes while maintaining dribbling control.

A fourth benefit of using the Personal Scoreboard is that it provides a convenient place to mount your phone and video record your sessions while using the Player App. The tripod stand that comes with your Personal Scoreboard may be placed anywhere around the court to get the ideal view of your shooting form, also allowing your trainer and coaches to give you better feedback.

No, you don't. The Swish Hoop® technology was built with expert basketball training knowledge to help you maximize the time you spend working on your game by yourself. So, if you aren't on a team or working with a trainer, you can improve on your own. 

Each Swish Hoop®shooting and dribbling drill has a detailed description and an instructional demo video of an expert player doing the drill. Following these examples will allow players to learn and perfect new skills on their own.

The Swish Hoop® technology allows your  coaches and trainers to coach you remotely at anytime. Through the Swish Hoop® Coach’s App, coaches will be able to review all of your shooting and dribbling drills stats. Coaches are also able to give you feedback on your shooting from the shooting drills you've recorded through the Player App. This enhances their ability to provide you and your teammates your own personalized instruction.

Coaches and trainers can also input their own drills into the Swish Hoop® database, allowing them to assign you the same drills that they've always used. By assigning you and your teammates drills and workouts, then monitoring development goals, coaches can more effectively guide your team's player development in the areas you and your teammates need to work on the most. The automated video breakdown feature in the Swish Hoop® Player App will take a video recording of your shooting drill sessions and automatically edit the video into shot-by-shot videos that are easier to access and review than trying to search through a lengthy video of an entire workout session. Yes. All Swish Hoop® products are FCC, IC, and CE certified, which means you can use them in the US, Canada and Europe, or anywhere else that accepts these certifications.

The Swish Hoop® Player App is free for anyone to use, but to record shooting stats (makes, attempts, swishes), you will need to purchase or share a Basketball Skills Trainer Lite product or the Basketball Skills Trainer Pro product. Those products have the capability of automatically tracking your shooting and recording results in your personal database. Manual tracking ✍ of shots is a bit counter to what we are trying to do with the products, which is to help players focus on their performance rather than keep count in their head 🤔

Although our intent is to keep the product cost low enough for nearly everyone to afford, you can keep your cash outlay low by sharing Shot Monitors among as many people as you like. It is free to download the app. become a Swish Hoop® user and record as many shots as you want, so each player can have an independent record of their shooting, even if they are sharing a single Shot Monitor.
